Getting targeted traffic to a website /blog is one of the most difficult task an Internet Marketer / Blogger  goes through. In fact one you’ve set up your site and Search Engine Optimized it, the only focus is on increasing traffic! Running 3 blogs I’ve got to agree that Traffic is the life-blood of any business and I spend most of my time trying different methods to increase traffic to my blogs. I’ve tried methods like Social Bookmarking, Social Marketing and directory submission etc etc…

The best way to not bring traffic is to not really do anything about it. Most webmasters including me are looking for that magic pill that brings traffic to our blogs. However, we need to remember that learning how the internet works is a matter of trial and error. If we don’t really try something new the fact is – We won’t know how it works!

Article Marketing is a really very effective way of increasing traffic to your blog. But you must remember that Article Marketing is not easy if you’re a new webmaster as you need to look after everything yourself and writing articles is not really a piece of cake.

Like everything else, writing articles would be difficult in the beginning  – but with proper guidance and training you can really churn out articles in your niche within a few minutes. You also have an option of outsourcing your article writing, but you do require moolah for that!  There are directories like EzineArticles and GoArticles that are reputed and can help bring consistent traffic to your blog. The point is to keep putting up quality articles there and linking back to your blog. As an addition, these links are high PR links and will add to your blog’s value in Google’s eyes.

In conclusion, I would like to mention that Article Marketing is no doubt difficult – but it can do wonders for your internet business if done the right way and lastly a quote relevant to this subject comes to my mind ” If you think education is difficult, try ignorance” – Hope you get my point!
