Google recently announced a new feature in Google’s search engine. From now on Google will bring your search results to life with a dynamic stream of real-time content from across social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook and Myspace.
To test this, go to your google search and try searching for your favorite TV show, sporting event or the latest development on a recent government bill. If a tweet matches what you search for, it just might throw up that tweet as a result.
You can now go and see a new “Latest” option in the “Show options” sidebar of Google Search. There is also a way to filter results just to status updates from Twitter and the like
From now on Internet Marketers would start focussing on hitting the top search results spot in real-time. This would also mean that you start seeing and increase in spam and you might just end up reading irritating tweets during your search.
This is the first time any search engine has integrated realtime results into a standard page, Google says. Eventually this could change the face of internet marketing industry, time will tell the rest.
