What is a Linkwheel? How to use them for your benefit?
“Traffic is the life-blood of business”, and getting traffic to your money-making page is all that you need to focus on. Linkwheels are an excellent way to build up your Google Rankings and eventually help build traffic. Read on to find out more
So what exactly is a linkwheel?
A linkwheel is a wheel like structure of interconnected Web 2.0 properties that all point to a common landing page (which ideally should be your ”>money making page). A linkwheel helps gain some quality traffic as the Web 2.0 properties get a lot of traffic and what we do by building a linkwheel is we direct traffic from these sites to our own sites.
Note - Web 2.0 properties are hubpages, squidoo, wikispaces, blogspot etc.
The interlinking of each of the web 2.0 properties helps each of the property become superior to almost 90% of the
other pages on these sites as not many people build links to their Web 2.0 pages. Web 2.0 properties have great authority and rank really well in google by themselves. They can bring in a lot of organic traffic to our main landing page. Linkwheels also help in ranking higher in the search engines. It can be better understood by using
the following image :

In the image all the sites are pointing to the main landing page and each one is linked to another Web 2.0 property i.e. Each of the Web 2.0 properties have one link to the main landing page and 1 link to another Web 2.0 property. Squidoo has 1 link to the main landing page and one to hubpages, hubpages has one to the main landing page and another pointing to Wikispaces.
Linkwheels rank really well in the search engines by themselves so a little keyword research won’t do us any bad.
If you want to know more about linkwheels http://lemonarian.com/linkwheel. Lemon is the person who coined the term “linkwheel”, so there is probably nobody else who can explain it better than him.
If you’re interested in knowing how to do a thorough keyword research, watch out for my next post on how to do a keyword research.
To your online business! Cheers

This is really something new to me. I try Squidoo and HubPages before but doesn’t work, maybe because the way I do it is wrong … pretty sure about that. I should try this method. Thanks for sharing.

I tried this method and I found out that it is very helpful. The only thing is, it really takes time on manual searching to your your properties with a high PR and knowing if it is a do-follow and no-follow sites..
